Philanthropic Water Company Wins Taste Test (Berkeley Springs, WV) -- A West Virginia water bottling company with high hopes for easing poverty in Africa has won a national taste test. The 18th Annual Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting was held with more than 120 waters competing for top honors. First-time entrant and local favorite Tumai Water of Martinsburg, West Virginia won the best bottled water category. The company launched in 2006, and donates profits to AIDS relief and water needs in Africa. Event producer Jill Klein Rone says the West Virginia company can expect their phones to be going crazy with orders after the win. Journalists and food critics judged the entries. The contest is known as the worlds largest and longest-running water tasting. (Copyright 2008 by Newsroom Solutions) RNS-02-26-08 0231CST
