A suspect who led police on a pursuit in an east side neighborhood is charged with 17 violations.
The pursuit started Saturday afternoon.
Police were called to the Lakeside Terrace subdivision by the suspects mother.
20 year old Kristopher Cannon was allegedly driving erratically.
According to the affidavit, cannon smashed several mailboxes and hit a police cruiser with his car.
When his car stalled, police were able to break the windshield and apprehend Cannon.
His mother allegedly told police her son had a serious drug problem.
Cannon was booked on 17 charges, including eight counts of hit and run, and three counts of resisting arrest.
