Turtle Roundup at Mesker Zoo

It was a turtle race in the Tri-State today, as several animals traveled from their indoor homes to outdoor exhibits.
5 Northern Leopard Tortoises and 4 African Spurred Tortoises made their move this morning at Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden in Evansville.
The turtles moved from their indoor exhibit in the Kley Building to their outdoor homes.
One of the world's largest species of turtles, an Aldabra Tortoise, weighing 222 pounds, took several people and a vehicle to move.
