Bank Photos From Today's Robbery:

For the third time in less than a year a Posey county bank is robbed. The Fifth third on State Route 66 was held up again this morning. Could it be the same suspect each time? Theres no red bullseye painted on the outside of the Fifth Third Bank, but its turning into a target. For the second time in three weeks and the third in less than a year a robber has gotten away with cash from the Wadesville Bank. Surveillance pictures show the man walking in, handing the teller a sack with a note on it and walking out with cash. They think the person today is the same as this one in surveillance video from February. Theres similarities same type of sunglass kept this left hand in his pocket," says Master Trooper Frank Smith Last time he did show a gun. Theres no sign of a weapon this time. Last months pictures show the suspect with a mustache. His face is clean shaven this time, but the pictures still have a resemblance. Police cant seem to figure out what makes this bank so appetizing for criminals. "I have no idea. Out in the country? I dont know." They say since February theyve tried to keep an eye out. Sheriffs deputies used to patrol the bank, but that has been scaled back. The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s about 6 feet tall with a medium build. Police think he lives in the area. He was last seen taking off eastbound on State Route 66 in a red ford Countour with a hubcap missing on the front passenger side a spoiler on the trunk. Police do not believe these past two robberies are connected to the hold up last May.
