Owensboro Fire Victim Identified

A man found dead inside a burning home in Owensboro has been identified as Raymond Chapman.

Above is a picture of the scene, courtesy of the Owensboro Messenger Inquirer.

Crews were called to Chapman's home in the 700 block of Jed Place around 8 Thursday night.

Neighbors say they heard an explosion before they noticed the fire.  The Owensboro Fire Department says that the small home went up in flames quickly, and was completely engulfed when they arrived.

The fire is under investigation.
