Ryan Shelby is charged with murder, obstruction of justice and false informing.
He could face up to 65 years in jail.
Police say he killed his 15-year-old step daughter, Alexis Osterle in November 2009, then dumped her body behind a shed on his property.
The Warrick County Jury reached a verdict in just under 4 hours.
Sentencing will be held June 20th.
His case was moved from Spencer to Warrick County due to pre-trial publicity.
