Update on Body Found in Submerged Car

Police in Southern Illinois have released the identity of the elderly woman found dead in the Wabash River Friday morning.
Mt. Carmel Police say autopsy results have revealed 85-year-old, Agnes Girten, died from an apparent accidental drowning.
Officers were called to the Fifth Street Boat Ramp in Mount Carmel Friday morning, where they found a car floating just south of the boat ramp.
Emergency responders used cables and chains to pull the car back to the ramp, and that's when they found Girten's body.
Police continue to investigate.
