Fatal Accident Closes Southbound Green River Road

EVANSVILLE -- Evansville Police have confirmed to Eyewitness News that a middle aged man riding a bicycle has been killed in an accident between a car and bike this afternoon near the intersection of Green River Road and Virginia.
He was not wearing any protective equipment.
The accident happened around 4:30 this afternoon

Southbound Green River Road is closed at Virginia as crews investigate.
