An elderly woman has died from her injuries after an accident in Gibson County Saturday afternoon.

Gibson County Sheriff's deputies say it happened around 12:15 Saturday at the intersection of State Road 64 and State Road 65 -- west of Princeton.

They say 82-year-old Gretchen Hawf of Mount Carmel, Illinois, was stopped at State Road 65...when witnesses say she pulled into the path of a pickup headed eastbound on 64.

Deputies say the pickup hit Hawf's car on the driver's side.

The driver of the pickup and Hawf's two passengers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries...but all were treated and released.

Hawf was taken to Deaconess Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
