The numbers are low but the stomachs are full at one Posey County community center, it's because the center is giving free lunches to the community. At The Cross Mission church in Mount Vernon says the meals are nutritious and made with love, but they are having a hard time filling up the seats. The church serves the community every Monday through Friday from 11:30 am to 1:00 p.m at Hedges School. At The Cross is feeding children under the age of 18. The pastor says his staff is ready, willing and able to feed up to 200 people but so far fewer than 30 are showing up. He's asking for those in Posey County to bring their appetite.
