Road Conditions

By: LaTonya Stephens

The roads may be clearing up but there are still plenty of slippery stuff causing traffic problems. Its kept towing companies busy for the last 24 hours. Carla Farrar was involved in accident just before the twin bridges. She says a driver hit her SUV on the passenger side and remaining slush made it difficult to stop. Luckily, Farrar and her children were not hurt. But hit hard was not only her car but her pocketbook. She says she had to pay Tri-state towing 160 dollars to get her car back home. And another driver who slid off Stratman Road in Henderson also felt the cost. As Dallas towing helped to pull out his car stuck in a field. This all lead to another busy day for most towing companies. . Tri-State Towing Manager, Mark Feller says though its good business for them drivers should decrease their speed and increase their following distance. Even Kentuckys Governor Steve Beshear is asking drivers to stay off the highways this weekend. Urging those who must travel to exercise caution.
