Carla Farrar was involved in accident just before the twin bridges.
She says a driver hit her SUV on the passenger side and remaining slush made it difficult to stop.
Luckily, Farrar and her children were not hurt.
But hit hard was not only her car but her pocketbook.
She says she had to pay Tri-state towing 160 dollars to get her car back home.
And another driver who slid off Stratman Road in Henderson also felt the cost.

decrease their speed and increase their following distance.
Even Kentuckys Governor Steve Beshear is asking drivers to stay off the highways this weekend.
