All the farewell ceremonies have ended
And family and friends have said there final goodbyes to Indianas 76th brigade combat team.Army life is getting back to normal at Fort Stewart Georgia.In the last hours before deploying to the middle east in support of Iraqi freedom..... Soldiers are just passing time.Nat (soccer ball) Soccer and football are a popular pass time for some .... but whats on everyones mind is getting packed for the long road ahead. Getting all your belonging into two duffel bags and a carry-on for a tour of duty that could last nine months has proven difficult for some. Since the army wont allow soldiers to bring any more luggage .... soldiers are determined to get everything into the bags .A mission many thought at first couldnt be done, but found out that with a little creativity it could.
Just a short time and look at all the stuff I have to pack.
But Im embedded with the army now and
that means i get two duffel bags just like everyone else.
