Indiana parents on the fence about the school voucher program received the opportunity to learn more about the program tonight. Parents whose children currently attend public school can receive financial help through a state wide voucher program to enroll their child in private school. The program will help pay for part of or all of the student's private education.

"We believe its important," said Marissa Lynch, "because we want to see every child succeed academically, so we want to give parents as many options as possible, as many opportunities to make the best decision for their child."

Tonight was the first of three informational meetings about the state's private school voucher program.

Why can't we have more of this, especially in bad, inner-city schools of Gary and such? OH! Democrats; that's right.
