Predictions from the tournament are already coming in, but not about the players,  but the economic impact here in the Tri-state. Evansville's Convention and Visitor's Bureau says its been busy booking hotel rooms, while rental cars are flying off the lot. The excitement is already underway and the tournament has yet to begin, many Hoosiers say they are proud to have an event of this magnitude in their own backyard. The cars are rolling in, whether a rental or personal, many visitors are already hitting the course. Evansville's CVB has high hopes for the United Leasing Championship at Victoria National. Laura Libs says she wants people to make the Tri-state a stop in their future trips. Libs says more than 5,000 hotel rooms are reserved all this week, which means great business for restaurants and more. Ron Brand says Victoria is great enough to bring people back. Libs is projecting a boost for our area, but since this is the first year of the tournament it's unclear how much of a boost we'll get. The CVB says it expects more than 6,000 visitors to come in and out of the United Leasing Championship, but they say they won't have the final numbers until at least a week after the tournament ends.
