Infant Sling Carriers Recalled

About 12-Hundred Infant Sling Carriers Recalled
(Washington, DC) -- About 12-hundred infant sling carriers are being recalled because babies can fall out of them.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the recalled carriers are the Indian-made "Ellaroo Ring Sling Baby Carriers." They were sold between June of last year and February of this year online and at retailers nationwide, including BabiesRUs.com.
The commission says the carriers aluminum rings can break or bend, causing fabric to unravel and infants to fall out.
There are no injuries reported, but there are reports of rings bending and breaking.
The recall involves carriers with the lot numbers 03-07 and 07-04 on a label beneath the size label.
Consumers should contact the manufacturer for instructions on repairing or replacing the slings.
