20 million Directv subscribers are waking up Wednesday without some of their favorite programs.

The satallite provider was unable to reach a deal with Viacom and as of late Tuesday night, no longer carries the media giant's networks.

Both sides blamed each other for the channels coming off of the satellite broadcaster on Tuesday evening.  Viacom said Directv dropped the channels without warning, but Directv said its hand was forced by Viacom.

Some of Viacom's networks include MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central and VH1.

Both company's have created websites, explaining their side of the issue.  Links to those pages are below.
