UPDATE: 4 Year Old Dies After Being Pulled From A Lake

UPDATE: According to the Vanderburgh County Coroner's Office Kai Neukem, 4, St. Anthony passed away overnight at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.  The family has been notified. No autopsy will be conducted.  


EARLIER REPORT: A Dubois County boy is in critical condition after nearly drowning in a lake.
Around 6:00 Friday night emergency crews were called to 3000 block of South Santine Road near St. Anthony.  Before officers arrived, others found 4 year old Kai Neukem in a lake.
CPR was performed on Kai.  He was then taken to Jasper Memorial Hospital, then flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville where he is listed in critical condition.
