Lee Hamilton In Evansville

A former Indiana congressman says the next president will have the toughest foreign policy challenge yet. Lee Hamilton served as the ninth district congressman for 34 years. He was also the vice chair of the 9-11 commission. Today, he spoke at the University of Evansville about what he thinks will be a historic presidency for whoever gets the nomination. Hamilton says Afghanistan and Pakistan need more attention. The next president will also have the most difficult agenda he can think of repairing the countrys relationship with the rest of the world. The two candidates and one nominee debate who has the most experience, but Hamilton says its more about the judgment.
"Experience does not equal with judgment it may be helpful but keeping in mind some very experienced people got us into this mess in Iraq."
Hamilton says he hasnt decided who to endorse yet. He says the drawn out race between Clinton and Obama will only mean good things for the democratic party.
