Sick Pigs Sent Home from Indiana State Fair

By: Chris Veech
Updated: August 6, 2012
Indiana State Fair officials have sent the pigs home early. All the animals from the swine barn are going home after six pigs developed temperatures exceeding 105 degrees.

Fair visitors will still be able to tour the swine barn and see the "World's Largest Male Hog" as well as the Champion Sow and Litter. Next week's open show will go on as scheduled starting April 14. The cause of the high fevers is still unknown at this time.
