The alleged driver in a fatal crash has turned himself in.

Indiana State Police say 25-year-old Anthony Yokel of Allendale, Illinois, surrendered to deputies at the Gibson County Jail.  Yokel was wanted in connection with a June 16th fatal accident that killed a Princeton woman.

Yokel faces charges of operating a car while intoxicated resulting in death and criminal recklessness.

An investigation revealed that Yokel was driving eastbound on State Road 168, east of Owensville, when he crossed the center line, crashing into another vehicle, driven by 20-year-old Lauren Hale.  Hale died on impact.

The investigation also revealed Yokel was under the influence of alcohol and marijuana at the time of the crash.

Yokel is currently being held on a 5-thousand dollar cash bond.
