Work at Lincoln/Green River Intersection Months Ahead of Schedule

There is still a lot of traffic behind me here at the Lincoln-Green River Road intersection, but now its almost back to normal rush hour levels. For more than six months driving through the intersection has been a challenge.
The ever changing lane restrictions have made getting to businesses like CK's Hair Salon and Snodgrass Floral Company a logistical nightmare. But there's a light at the end of the tunnel.
City Engineer Cris Cottom says their are only a few minor touchups before all the work is complete. With an original completion date estimated in November, the project is months ahead of schedule.
And the folks here at Snodgrass Floral say the early completion couldn't have come at a better time. They just have a few more weeks left before these orange cones are a thing of the past.
Cottom says, so long as the weather holds out, traffic patterns should be finalized and everything back to normal by the middle of September.
