High Water Closes US 45 The Illinois Department of Transportation closed US 45 between Carrier Mills and Stonefort at 8 p.m. Tuesday night, due to high water and water across the roadway. Motorist traveling between Harrisburg and Vienna need to find alternative routes. A suggested route is Illiniois 13 to I-57 to I-24.
