When mom and dad own a store you can usually spot a child or two hanging around too. Thats the way it was for a third generation flooring store owner. In this weeks Family First growing up in the family business taught him just as many "business lessons" as "life lessons". Stephen Belows been at work since the 7th grade. He started at his grandfathers oil refinery and later went to work at his familys "Unclaimed Freight and Flooring" store. Stephen says his first job paid so little in one day he couldnt even afford a pocket knife hed been eyeing at the Unclaimed Freight store, so, he put it on layaway. The early lessons became a valuable guide as Stephen grew up and eventually took over the store. Late last year he had to make a big decision about the fate of the family business to see his decision and the full store click on the video link and watch.
