Time to Show Up & See Hillary?

Hillary Clintons stop in Evansville has residents buzzing. Especially those living near Harrison High school. They will be just a step away from the rally and the crowds. And for many its an event they find exciting but for different reasons. Virgil Springer says he would like for the grandchildren to see her and his daughter. Becky Savage says she thinks its really exciting for the kids to know somebodys important is coming. But also because it may get them more involved in the race and help them to get involved in what the candidates stand for. Evansville police says Harrisons gym can accommodate up to 35-hundred people. Those wanting to attend can begin lining up at 4:00 oclock at the gym on the west side of the school. News Release: From: EVSC, Marsha Jackson Hillary Rodham Clinton Campaign Comes to Harrison High School Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton will appear at a rally with Sen. Evan Bayh, D-IN in Harrison High Schools gymnasium, Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend, however there are several security precautions being taken that individuals need to be aware of. They include: * Cullen Avenue on the west side of Harrison High School will be closed to vehicular traffic. * All parking will be located in neighborhoods around Harrison or in the south parking lot of the school. No public parking will be allowed in any of the other parking lots at Harrison. * Entrance for the event will be at the gym doors on the west side of the building. Individuals will be allowed to walk up to this entrance and line up beginning at 4 p.m. No one will be allowed to line up earlier than that time. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. * All attendees will be required to pass through a metal detector. No umbrellas, signs, etc., will be allowed inside the doors. Purses and bags will be searched, so it is recommended NOT to bring them into the building.
