Three Arrested for Shooting

Three people were put under arrest Thursday, following an early morning shooting in Evansville. Aveyon Emory, Darius McElroy and Jamar Jones all face one charge of attempted murder, one charge of burglary and 10 counts of criminal recklessness. Police say they were at a home in the 1600 block of South Lynwood when an argument broke out. The victim went inside and then someone from the crowd fired a shot into the home. The victim is a juvenile who was shot in the hip. Police arrested the trio a short time later.
