State Police Arrest Petersburg Man for Sexual Misconduct with Minor
Pike County – Thursday afternoon, March 20, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Indiana State Police Detective Tobias Odom arrested Lawrence Dent, JR, 25, 304 Knox Street, Petersburg, after an investigation revealed he allegedly had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old Pike County girl. Dent was arrested at his residence without incident. During the investigation, Detective Odom revealed that Dent allegedly had sexual intercourse with the 15-year-old girl on two separate occasions during January 2007 and February 2008. Dent was taken to the Pike County Jail where he is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
