Berry Plastic Stock Reaches New York Stock Exchange

Berry Plastics is now a publicly traded company. Berry is offering nearly 30 million shares at $16 dollars each, which is at the lower end of what it projected to do. The company announced plans to go public in March. Berry's majority owner is Apollo Global Management, which will continue to control most of the shares. It raised $470 million in today's offering. The stock will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "BERY."
