LST Returns Home after Rough Journey

After being stuck for two days in the Cumberland River, the LST 325 finally returned to Evansville this evening. The World War II ship returned from Nashville, when it ran aground near Lake Barkley on Monday. Inspectors found no damage to the ship. It first stopped in Paducah for fuel before heading back to Evansville.
