Fall Festival Ticket Sales on the Rebound as the Weather Brightens Up

It's day four of the 91st Annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, and the weather couldn't be any more perfect, especially if you want to hop on the rides. The Nut Club admits the first two days of the festival were underwhelming in terms of ticket sales. But after two gorgeous days, ticket sales on are on the rebound.
There are dozens of rides jam packed in a couple square blocks. Nut Clubbers say the ticket sales are vital to the festival and their mission.
"The ticket rides pretty much amount to our profits for the festival," said Ride Chairman Tim Bryan. "What we charge for the vendors, the streets, that covers our expenses. So our profit is what we hope to make off of the tickets."
The Nut Club donated more than $200,000 last year. If the weather holds up, organizers say this year would be considered an average festival, which means more money pumped back in the community.
