Warrick County Man Sentenced for Counterfeit

A Warrick County man was sentenced to 5 years in prison for several charges including attempting to use a fake 100 dollar bill. Warrick County prosecutor says 39-year-old William Hamer, Jr. is accused of trying to use the counterfeit bill at the Newburgh Grocery Outlet and trying to steal from Newburgh Wal-Mart. Back in August, Hamer pleaded guilty to the charges.
