Kentucky residents take their concerns to their representatives. The final legislative forum of the year was held today at the Commerce Center in Owensboro. People asked legislators questions about getting a state budget approved. Other popular topics were also taxes, and human services. Kentucky Democratic Senator Dorsey Ridley says hearing people concerns face to face is a good thing. Ridley says the Senate hope to enact their version of the budget by early next week. It will then go to a free conference committee where the house and the Senate will decide what version will be voted on.
