The number of cases has gone from 91 to 105, with patients in nine states, and eight people are now reported dead.
It's believed the patients became infected after receiving steroid injections for back pain. Some of those were given at St. Mary's Surgicare Cross Pointe in Evansville. One person locally is being treated for Meningitis.
Health officials say there are 11 cases in Indiana, including one in Evansville and five in Kentucky.
