Indiana University Announces Tuition Freeze

By: Chris Veech
Updated: October 9, 2012

Graduating in 4 years could have added benefits for students attending Indiana University. In the annual State of the University Address, the university president announces beginning next year, IU will effectively freeze tuition for students after their sophomore year, if they are on track to graduate in four years. Qualified students will receive an on-time completion award equal to any increase in tuition and fees that they receive during their final two years at IU. If the student doesn't graduate in four years, they would then pay the current tuition and fee rates for any time at IU beyond their fourth year.
