Illinois Man Dies After Accident, Cause of Death Still Under Investigation

Illinois State Police say a medical condition ultimately led to an accident that left a Gallatin County man dead on Tuesday.
Troopers say 46-year-old Thomas Neumann, of Cave in Rock, was driving a semi on Illinois Route 13, when he apparently lost control and crossed into oncoming traffic before hitting a ditch.
Neumann was suffering from a medical trauma not related to the accident. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
The cause of death is still under investigation.
