The meningitis scare continues throughout the nation and here in the Tri-State. At least 12 people have died across the country from a contaminated medical supply linked to a rare fungal meningitis. The Centers for Disease Control says there are now 137 confirmed cases. Medical officials expect even more cases to be reported in the coming weeks. Here in the Tri-State, 560 patients received contaminated steroid injections at St. Mary's Surgicare at Cross Pointe.
Michael Klueh of St. Mary's joins us to discuss more on the meningitis outbreak. He is the Vice President and Chief Risk Officer.
