Floyd County officials will examine a payment to a law firm handling an ethics complaint filed against the prosecutor who was removed from the case.
The Floyd County Council agreed to consult the state Board of Accounts concerning 27-thousand dollars that was spent defending prosecutor Keith Henderson.
The Court of Appeals removed Henderson from the case after defense lawyers said he improperly made a book deal about the case.
Camm faces a third trial in the 2000 slayings of his wife and two children. His previous convictions were overturned.
