Owensboro Recognized for Downtown and Riverfront Projects

Owensboro is awarded by the Kentucky League of Cities. The city is getting the award for development and emplementation of the riverfront and downtown projects with more than $270 million in public and private investment. The award is given to projects that demonstrate increased efficiency, innovation, and overall benefit to the community, as well as the possibility of being adapted well in other cities.
