Vehicle Hits Construction Worker in Edwards County

A construction worker is in the hospital after being hit by a semi in Edwards County. The Illinois State Police say Earl Gosnell was driving in a construction zone on State Route 130 near West Salem about 9 a.m. when he hit Larry Biggerstaff. Biggerstaff was flown to Deaconess in Evansville, where he is listed in fair condition. Still no word on exactly how the accident happened.
