Community Days to be Held Tomorrow on Interstate 69

By: Chris Veech
Updated: October 19, 2012

Tomorrow is your chance to get a first hand look at I-69. The new I-69 corridors will host five community days, including Pike County near S.R. 61 and the i-69 interchange, also in Gibson County near S.R. 64 and the I-69 interchange. This is part of Governor Mitch Daniels' Major Moves Campaign that also included leasing the Indiana Toll Road. The events will be free of charge, but the local organizing committees are asking attendees to bring canned goods and non-perishable food items to help support area food pantries.
