Owensboro Murder Trial Begins Today

The murder trial begins for the man accused of beating an Owensboro man to death back in 2010. Paul Wayne Miller is on trial accused of killing Richard "Scott" Embry. Prosecutors say Miller is responsible for killing Embry in his home on Stockton Dr. in Owensboro. Miller faces charges of murder, theft by unlawful taking, fraudulent use of a credit card, and tampering with pysical evidence. Authorities say at first they thought Embry had committed suicide but later discovered he died of blount force trauma to the head.
