An Ohio County Kentucky couple makes their first court appearance on charges of murder, assault and criminal abuse Friday. Kentucky State Police charged Nathaniel Tucker with Murder, three counts of Criminal Abuse and three counts of Assault for abusing three of Samantha Oakley's children, killing four year old Jonathan Oakley. Samantha Oakley is charged with criminal abuse. For four year old Jonathan Oakley, many say he lost his life too soon. Donna Bowman is First Lady of Bible Baptist Church in Hartford, her husband is handling Jonathan Oakley's funeral this weekend. She's very close to the Oakley family, and says the negative judgment from the public is too much too soon. KSP Investigators say Oakley's three children were abused sometime Friday, October 19th. Tucker is facing more severe charges, but detectives believe Samantha Oakley knew about the abuse. Bowman says being judgmental does more harm than good. She asks family, friends and strangers to lean on their faith. Now Bowman says, the Oakley family has an extra angel. Beaver Dam Pre-school sent letters home to parents of classmates of Jonathan Oakley. His funeral is set for Saturday at 4:00 pm at Bevel Brothers Funeral Home in Beaver Dam.
