Ford Center Planning Birthday Bash

By: Michael C. Fehn
Updated: November 1, 2012
Believe it or not, Evansville Ford Center is about to celebrate it's first anniversary.  And to celebrate, VenuWorks, which operates the facility, is hosing a big party on Sunday, November 4th, from 1-4p.m.

The free event is open to the public, and will feature prizes for the first 3,000 people through the doors.  There will also be food, a birthday cake, and the center's first ever open skating session on the arena's ice.

"We want to thank Evansville and the entire Tri-State area for their support of the Ford Center during its opening year," states Executive Director Scott Schoenike. "We're looking forward to celebrating with our guests not only on Sunday, but throughout the upcoming event season. We are excited for a busy second year of operation."
