"If you are 55 years of age and younger," said Crooks, "the Congressinoal budget office, non-partisan group, has made it very clear, along with AARP and other people who are watching this debate closely. They believe that privatizing Medicare and not keeping the Medicare guarantee will definetly cost seniors a lot of money."
"They're lies," said Bucshon. "The fact of the matter is the stuff my opponent has been saying about my record on Medicare is not true. In fact in 2011 Politicact.com, a national non-partican fact checking agency called it the lie of the year, what they're saying about me on Medicare."
Bucshon spent part of his day today calling voters and asking for their support. Crooks made several personal stops around the district.
