Seven more Evansville area volunteers are headed to the northeast to assist with relief efforts.

They'll be helping with clean-up efforts and aiding those who've lost everything as a result of Superstorm Sandy.

A group from the local Red Cross is already in New Jersey, helping victims.  This latest deployment brings the total number of volunteers deployed from Evansville to 19.

If you'd like to help those affected by the storm, one way is by donating to the Red Cross.  We're told all donations will give shelter, food, and other assistance to those who need it.

You can call 1-800-red cross, or text "red cross" to 9-0-9-9-9 to make a ten dollar donation.
