A coal company continues to shut down operations in Henderson County, which could cost dozens of jobs. Patriot Coal Corporation says it's closing the Bluegrass Mine complex located near Henderson by the end of 2012. A release from the company says the complex employs 89 people, and should produce about 1.2 million tons of thermal coal this year. Back in April, the company announced it was shutting down the Freedom Mine in Henderson, leaving more than 150 people without a job. The company said it was facing a continued weakness in market demand.
