Man Arrested After Police Say He Fired Shotgun Near House

An Evansville man is behind bars this morning after police say he held his wife's ex at gunpoint.
33-year-old Jeffrey Wall was arrested at 1905 East Franklin Street at about 10:00 Wednesday night. Witnesses say he shot his shotgun into the front yard and into the air before being apprehended.
He was charged with three felonies, including pointing a firearm. Investigators say wall and his wife's ex had a phone conversation that escalated into both of them setting up a meeting.
Wall is being held at the Vanderburgh County Jail.
