The Kunkel Group announces the completion of a senior living project in downtown Evansville. The Market Street Living Project is a $10.2 million renovation at the building here on Market St. At full capacity, it will feature up to 75 apartments and add up to 30 full time and part time jobs.

Officials say it's in a perfect location for senior citizens because downtown attractions are all within walking distance. Today's ribbon cutting is just the latest in the continued efforts to re-vitalize downtown.

Evansville Mayor Lloyd Winnecke also took part in the ribbon cutting. There will be an open house on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
