Sandy Watkins Park Closed for Improvements

A Henderson County park is closed for the season. The county has shut down Sandy Lee Watkins Park for safety reasons. Officials say crews are going to make improvements to make a lade disability accessible. It shold re-open next Spring. The county also hopes to eventually add walking and horse trails and an archery range to the 500 acre park.
