Energy Independence by 2030?

According to a new report, the U.S. is expected to be the world's largest oil producer by around 2020, replacing Saudi Arabia in the top spot.
The report from the International Energy Agency also states that the U.S. could be energy independent just ten years later in 2030.
America's rise to the top is credited to a recent resurgence in oil and gas production, and the fact that newer vehicles are more fuel efficient.
