An Evansville man will spend the next 15 1/2 years in prison for being an armed career criminal.
43 year old Darryl Foster was caught with a .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol March 2006.
He has three prior felony convictions for crimes of violence, including robbery, battery and criminal recklessness with a firearm.
Because of that, he falls under the Armed Career Criminal Act, which is an automatic 15 year sentence when caught with a gun.
